OpenSubtitlesPlayer is a handy application meant to allow you to watch movies and listen to audio tracks in a convenient manner. It’s a powerful multimedia player that features a handy codec analysis feature which detects if codecs required to play a certain multimedia file type are missing and automatically downloads these decoders, hence enabling you to basically play any kind of multimedia file. Anyway, that’s not the only remarkable advantage provided by this tool. OpenSubtitlesPlayer is also capable of automatically downloading the subtitles that you need for certain video files as it incorporates the OpenSubtitles.org API, hence its name. Worth mentioning is also the speech synthesizer that can loudly read the text of the subtitles, and this is a feature I haven’t seen often within other media players.
OpenSubtitlesPlayer can also play movies directly from torrents, without making you wait for them to be downloaded first. It also provides the typical features that pretty much all respectable movie players provide: audio equalizer, support for playlists, support for brightness adjustments and different aspect ratios, and so on.
This nice player is also easy to use and intuitive thanks to a smart interface. It’s based on ALLPlayer, a more popular video player, but it’s got plenty of distinctive functions and features. Since it’s also free, I can only recommend it with all my heart.
